Re: PureWood^TM Pricing Changes

To Our Valued Customers,

Please be aware that we are in the process of making some pricing adjustments in the PureWood^TM product line. We expect to have new Pricing/Spec catalogs distributed in early June with changes becoming effective on orders placed July 1st, 2003 forward.

In an effort to keep pricing stable for our customers, CDS often absorbs material and overhead cost increases for significant periods of time. But as you all know, eventually every business must make adjustments to pricing that honestly reflect associated costs. With that said, I can offer a general idea of what to expect with these adjustments:

• Increase on Cherry and Maple pricing of about $0.50 cents a square foot.
• Some realignment of the pricing groups for the less popular species.
• A few increases to specific door styles that will better reflect actual manufacturing costs.

Please keep these issues in mind as you submit bids for the coming months.
